Jack Joseph Taylor

Jack Joseph Taylor passed away January 18, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Gilda Gehring Taylor. Son of the late Florence Scholl Taylor and George A. Taylor. Father of Craig Joseph Taylor and Chad James Taylor. Grandfather of Brandon and Cory Taylor.
Age 92 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Metairie, LA. Jack retired from BTJ Pipefitters and Refrigeration as an A/C Mechanic and went on to work in code enforcement for Jefferson Parish Government. Member of Plumbers Local Union 60 and VFW Post 6640. He enjoyed playing golf and working in the yard. He will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11 AM. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM and on Tuesday from 9 AM until 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
