Irwin August Stansberry

Irwin August Stansberry entered into eternal rest on December 30, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Terry Michel Stansberry. Father of Megan Stansberry. Son of the late John Stansberry and Rita Irwin Forestiere. Brother of Mikki Stansberry Cuevas (Timothy) and the late John Stansberry, III. Uncle of Carli Cuevas Tucker (Kharisma), Carter Cuevas, and Carson Cuevas. Great-Uncle of Brixton Cuevas. Age 71 years, a native of Westwego and resident of Terrytown, LA. Irwin graduated from West Jefferson High School and Delgado Community College. He spent his career as a drafter in the maritime industry until retirement. He was a member of the Jerusalem Shriners and enjoyed his time with the clown unit. Irwin fought a courageous long battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until service time.
