Irma Louise Tillman Hamilton

Irma Louise Tillman Hamilton, a native of Bayou La Batre, Alabama and a lifelong resident of lower Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Willis Oliver Tillman and Josephine Derwin Tillman; siblings, Willis Tillman, Mary Goleman, James Tillman, Claude Tillman, and Matt Tillman. She is beloved wife of 48 year of Lonnie Hamilton Sr. She is devoted and loving mother of Maria Wainwright ( Charles “Tinkie”), Cathy Jo Hamilton ( Alvin), and Lonnie Hamilton Jr. (Melissa). She is grandmother of Preston (Amber), Brittney (Ethan), Logan, Gavin (Erin), Lonnie III and Everett; great grandchildren, Eli, Preston Jr “P.J.”, Caden, Jaxon, Ian and Josie; step great grandchild, Olivia. She is loving sister of Wilfred Tillman (Juanita), Linda Goleman (Shirley), John Tillman, Joann Moreno (Jose). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM at River of Life Ministries Church, 25640 Highway 23, Port Sulphur, Louisiana followed by another Visitation on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Friendship Baptist Church, 12581 Saeger Road, Grand Bay, Alabama with Funeral Services at 12:00 Noon.
