Irene Tastet Henning entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Gene R. Henning. Mother of Troy Henning and Darren Henning (Rachael). Grandmother of Hayden Henning. Daughter of the late Roy P. Tastet and Irene Ocman Tastet. Sister of the late Roy Tastet, Jr. (Ann) and Charlene T. Stein (Harris). Age 81 years and lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. Irene was loving wife, mother and grandmother, and like a second mother to many. She was a faithful parishioner and lector with Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until funeral time. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred.
