Huey John Wattigney, Jr.

Huey John Wattigney, Jr. passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Scott Wattigney, and his son, Phillip Wattigney. Huey was the son of the late Huey J. Wattigney, Sr. and Beverly Hebert Wattigney Butera. He was the stepson of Yvette Wattigney and the late John Butera. He is also survived by his sisters, Roxane (Paul) Minet, Rochelle (Randy) Mueller, and Jennifer (Mark) O’Quain. Huey was the son-in-law of the late Robert Scott and the late Judy Scott. He is survived by his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Kimberly (Jason) Summerlin, Robert (Theresa) Scott, Jr., and Heather Sanchez. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will cherish his memory and miss him dearly.

Family, friends, and members of the maritime community are invited to attend visitation services on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana.
