Henry William Santos Sr.

Henry William Santos, a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the age of 79. 
Beloved husband of Cheryl Bouy Santos for 58 years. Loving father of Henry (Hank)William Santos, Jr. (Tracy Reeb Santos) and Chrysti Santos Lance (Robert E. Lance). Proud "Pop Pop" of Robert Wm, Corey, & Colette Lance and Holly & Trent Santos.

Son of the late Margaret Bloom and Henry Harry Santos. Brother of the late Eleanora Church (the late B. J. Church). Brother-in-law of Sharon Miller Bouy (the late Lyle Bouy).  
 
Henry was a graduate of Martin Behrman High School.  He served in the US Marine Corps from 1964-1970.  He retired from L.P. & L. (Entergy). For many years he enjoyed coaching softball and volleyball at Oakdale Playground.  He enjoyed making crafts and was skilled in knitting crab nets and trawl nets. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marrero.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at First Baptist Church of Marrero, 4001 7th Street, Marrero, Louisiana 70072 on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 9AM until 10AM.  Memorial Service will take place at the church on Thursday at 10AM.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
