Hennely Joseph Chabert

Hennely Joseph Chabert entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2023. Beloved son of the late Alexis Chabert and Pauline Pitre Chabert. Brother of Alex Chabert, Felix Chabert (Donna), Doris Robichaux (Elmo), Eva Legendre (Earl) and the late Woodrow Chabert and Thomas Chabert. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 88 years, a native of Cut Off, LA and resident of Westwego, LA. Hennely worked for 35 years until retirement for the State of LA as a tunnel guard and in his spare time was a known avid fan of wrestling.  He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by everyone.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until funeral time. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Mausoleum, Cut Off, LA at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial masses preferred.
