Harry "Nick" Danos Jr

Surrounded by his loving family, Harry “Nick” Danos, 81, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.  Mr. Danos Jr. was a native and resident of Harvey, LA.

Mr. Danos retired from Broadmoor, LLC as the Corporate Safety Officer. He was a member of the 49's Social Club, the Metropolitan Safety Council, Gretna and Jefferson Historical Societies, the Delta Safety Society (life member), ASSE, the ABC Board of Directors and the New Orleans Bowling Club. 

Nick will be remembered for his jovial spirit, comical one-liners, bowling ability, caring nature, charismatic personality and his radiant smile - his eyes would light up the room. He was truly one in a million, and the greatest pawpaw!

Mr. Danos is preceded in death by his parents Harry Nicholas Danos Sr. and Claris Marie Lefort Danos Jr., and his brother Dean D. Danos (Kelley). He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dolores Boffone Danos, his children Todd Stephen Danos (Amy) and Tracy Danos Healy (Navy Captain, Thomas H. Healy), his grandchildren Karly Marie Danos, Rhone Anne Danos, Ethan Thomas Healy, Jackson Nicholas Healy and Eleri Grace Healy and his sisters Susan Hymel and Patty Kattan.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 2^nd, 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at St. Martha Catholic Church; 2555 Apollo Ave, Harvey, LA 70058. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow in Westlawn Memorial Park; 1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056.
