Harold J. Pellegrin

Harold J. Pellegrin entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary Gavin Pellegrin; daughter, Jackie Wiegand; parents, Wilson and Cecile Eschette Pellegrin; and brothers, Daniel and Royal Pellegrin. He is beloved husband of Mary Mattison Pellegrin. Harold is devoted father of Martin Pellegrin, Jewel Roussel ( Allen), Kathleen Guidry (Michael). He is father-in-law of Charles Wiegand. He is loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and great grandfather of many. He is brother of Barbara Ates and Madeline Guillot. A native of Houma, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse for over 50 years, Harold was an air Force WW II Veteran serving in the 96 Bomber Group, 339th Division. He flew 27 missions in his plane, “ Pilgrims Progress” over Germany. Harold retired from Crescent Machine and Tool Company. He was a member of the Riverbend Senior Center and AARP Chapter 4034.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8968 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA. Interment OLPH Cemetery, Belle Chasse. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Vincent De Paul at OLPH Church.
