Gregory G. Hinyub Sr

Gregory Hinyub, Sr., loving husband of Lydia Hinyub entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the age of 66. Greg was born in Gretna, LA on November 15, 1950 to and preceded in death by Levin and Emelda Hinyub. Greg served in the U.S. Army Air National Guard in Vietnam and Germany. He received a National Defense Service Medal as a Sharpshooter. Greg retired from Rignet Communications. He is survived by his son Gregory Hinyub Jr. ("Buddy" Kandie), grandsons, Gregory Hinyub, III, and Jeremy Hinyub, great-grandson, Easton Wayne Hinyub, son, Dewey Stoufflet, brother, Steve Hinyub (Dianne), sister, Marlene Rodrigue (Charlie), brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Faye Martinez and Peggy and Donald Lawhn and a host of nieces and nephews. Greg was a proud member of Gretna United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA at 6pm. Interment will be privately held at a later day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA 70056.
