Gertrude Louviere LeBlanc

Gertrude Louviere LeBlanc entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 2, 2023.  She was born on April 9, 1935 to her beloved parents, the late Otis Louviere and Lucille Hebert Louviere.  She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley LeBlanc, Sr.; her siblings, Audrey Bourgeois, Sister Francis Louviere (Order of the Sister of Charity) and Sister Marion Louviere (Order of the Carmelites).  Gertrude is the loving mother of Philip LeBlanc (Liz), Gregory LeBlanc (Antoinette), Ann Meaux (Jeff) and Stanley LeBlanc, Jr.  Grandmother of Philip LeBlanc, Jr. (Christina), Leslie LeBlanc, Zachary LeBlanc, Amy LeBlanc (Tim), Dawn Meaux Clark (Aaron), Jessica Meaux Green (Chris) and Austin Meaux (Emily).  Great Grandmother of Harrison, Wyatt, Jax, Marcell, Amelia, Claire, Micah, Zachary, Levi, Neveah, Carter and Lilly. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was born in Gibson, Louisiana and was a resident of Gretna, Louisiana. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Gertrude’s loving, devoted and beloved neighbor, Leslie Wallace as well as the doctors and staff of Heart of Hospice for their loving and devoted care to Gertrude.  Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 9AM until 11AM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM.  Interment will be held in Westlawn South Cemetery, Belle Chasse Highway at Wright Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
