Gerald "Jerry" Joseph Pigniolo

Gerald “Jerry” Joseph Pigniolo, age 73, passed away suddenly, at his residence in Jesuit Bend on April 12, 2017. He was born to the late August Joseph Pigniolo and the late Irene Pigniolo Bourgeois on August 24, 1943 , in Port Sulphur. He married his high school sweetheart, Fannie Marie Treadway on August 22, 1964 in Port Sulphur. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse. He is preceded in death by his father, August Joseph Pigniolo; his mother, Irene Pigniolo Bourgeois; his stepfather, Francis P. Bourgeois, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, the late Emile and Emma Treadway and his sister, Phyllis Pigniolo Wallace. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Fannie Marie Treadway Pigniolo; his children Gerald “Jerry” Joseph Pigniolo, Jr. (Billie Jo), Trudi Ann Pigniolo Borne (Owen, IV) and Amy Lynn Pigniolo Armstrong (Scott); his two sisters, Jackie Bychurch and Barbara Perkins; his sister-in-law, Jeannie Armstrong and brother-in-law, Morris Treadway (Dorothy); loving and dedicated “PeePaw” to Peyton Laine Pigniolo, Owen “Boo” Borne V, Bryanna Marie and Cameron Rene Armstrong; loving Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer masses or donations to the OLPH Building Fund, Donate Life America or American Diabetes Foundation. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9AM until 1PM at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey. Funeral Mass will follow at the funeral home at 1PM. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.
