Gerald Burdette Boothe, Sr. entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2022. Beloved husband of Sandra Locantro Boothe. Father of Gerald “Jerry” Boothe, Jr. and Paul Boothe (Vivian). Grandfather of Karleigh Boothe, Kyle Boothe, Brittany Ingram (Shaquille), Hunter Boothe, Allyson Boothe, Kristofer Meachum, and Hope Meachum. Great-grandfather of Brytli Ingram and Adelynn Boothe. Son of the late Orville Boothe and Beulah Desoto Boothe. Stepson of the late Ruby Mayo Boothe. Brother of Evelyn O’Neal (Van), and the late Edwin “Bobo” Boothe (Lavenia), Betty Cereigny, Christine Bryant, and Aubrey Boothe. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Age 76 years, a native of Harrisonburg, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Gerald spent his 30 year career until retirement with the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, bowling and playing golf. He will be deeply missed by all.
