Frank John Ehret III

Frank John Ehret, III, retired fabricator and pipefitter by trade, died peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was 81. Frank was born in New Orleans on December 11, 1942, and lived in Marrero his entire life. Frank was a sportsman extraordinaire who out-hunted and out-fished everyone. He was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Frank is survived by two children: Lance J. Ehret and Paige Ehret Brown (Jason). Six grandchildren: Brittney Dean Ott (Branden), Gabrielle Brown (Travis Kieff), Raphaella Brown (Cory Nini), Mykah Brown, Jason Brown, Jr., and Blake Ehret. Two great-grandchildren: Noah Bianchini and Benjamin Ott. Two sisters: Kathleen Ehret White (Burnley) and Mary Catherine Ehret. Former wife: Patricia Bernard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank John Ehret, Jr. and Loretta Acosta Ehret; and, his brothers: Ronald, Charles, and Michael Ehret.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 5 PM. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until mass time. Interment private.
