Frank Joseph Chivleatto, Jr., born on May 10, 1948, and departed this world on July 18, 2026, leaves behind a legacy of family devotion, hard work, and unwavering loyalty to the place he called home—Harvey, Louisiana. Frank passed peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, just as he had lived—in their hearts and company.
An alumnus of West Jefferson High School, Frank was a member of the class of 1966. After graduation, he embarked on a journey that would see him become a business owner, founding and operating Chivleatto Masonry.
Frank’s commitment to service extended beyond his business endeavors. He was a former member of the Westwego Rotary Club, where he enjoyed opportunities to give back and connect with those around him. Even after retiring, Frank’s zest for life was never diminished. He found immense joy in his beloved 1945 Chevy 5-Window pickup, on the greens of local golf courses, and in his travels across the country.
Above all, Frank’s family came first. He was known for putting his loved ones at the center of his life, making time with them his highest priority. His great sense of humor and legendary jokes brought laughter into their lives and are fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Frank is survived by his loving children: Kristy Chivleatto, Karen Chivleatto Daviss, and Frank Chivleatto III (Sarah). His memory will also be cherished by his dear grandchildren, Cameron Stansberry, Dominic Sanderson, Hayden Sanderson, Marco Chivleatto, and Lillian Daviss. Frank is also survived by his brother, Michael Chivleatto. He now reunites in rest with his parents, Frank Chivleatto, Sr. and Eleanor Chivleatto, and his sisters, Barbara Chivleatto and Diana Chivleatto.
