Francis Patrick Rooney passed away peacefully on May 27, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Former husband of Joan Rooney. Father of Margaret Rooney, Carl Rooney and Jennifer Rooney. Grandfather of Sofia Longoria and Isabella Reed. Brother of Maria Murphy, Patrick Rooney and the late Terrence Rooney. Son of the late Patrick and Ann Halford Rooney. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Francis was a native of Dublin, Ireland and resided in New Orleans, LA. He worked as Chief Engineer for McDermott and NPCC.
Memorial to be held on Saturday, June 11.
