Frances Gonzalez Labadie

Frances Gonzalez Labadie, devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017. Frances was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico and moved to New Orleans in 1978 with her husband, Dr. Juan and three sons, Juan Ernesto, Pablo Juan, and Juan Carlos. She quickly became deeply involved in her church and community. She earned her Masters of Social Work from Tulane University in 1986. She loved serving her community as a clinical social worker, helping countless children and families.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Louisiana ( louisianachapter@nmss.org ) in memory of Frances Labadie.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11am. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening May 30, 2017 from 6pm until 8pm and again on Wednesday morning from 10am until 11am.
