Born on November 27, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Butch was the beloved son of Floyd “Eddie” Maurice Wunstell, Sr. and Evelyn Seymour Wunstell. He was a proud graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1966. Following high school, Butch answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He went on to enjoy a successful career in chemical sales, a profession in which he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Butch was blessed to marry the love of his life, Marion Persick. Together they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He had a passion for traveling and found great joy in cheering on LSU and the New Orleans Saints. He was a proud supporter of the military and enjoyed photography, entertaining family and friends, collecting treasured items, and spending time with his beloved pets, who always held a special place in his heart. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd “Eddie” Maurice Wunstell, Sr. and Evelyn Seymour Wunstell; his devoted wife, Marion Persick Wunstell; his daughters, Deborah and Cindy; and his cherished fur companion, Polly.
