Florentina Reyes Breaux

Florentina Reyes Breaux, age 67, entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2026. Beloved wife to her best friend of 38 years, Warren Breaux. Mother of Jennifer Wainwright (Chris), Stephanie Dalmado (Tony), and Ashley Breaux. Grandmother of Jaxson Breaux, Ethan Dalmado, Noah Dalmado, and Xander Wainwright. Daughter of the late David Reyes and Josefina Guevarra Reyes. Niece of and like a daughter to Estella Cristobal. Sister of Eddie Reyes (Nelly), Lito Reyes (Esther), Vic Reyes, Chico Reyes (Lucy), Hennie Batiquin (Bing), Chris “Cheng” Eusebio (Larry), Louie Reyes (Ida), Gene Reyes (Elsie), Christy Bugayong (James), and the late Belinda Carpio, and Rosie Johnson (Damon). Sister-in-law of Ralph Breaux (Gretchen). Also, survived by 27 nieces and nephews. 

Florentina was a native of Las Pinas, Philippines, and current resident of Marrero, LA. She attended St. Joseph Academy in the Philippines. Then, in the States, she graduated from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and West Jefferson Vo-tech where she achieved her respiratory therapy degree. She worked for Ochsner Main Campus and Clinic for over 41 years as a respiratory therapist. She enjoyed gardening and landscaping, as well as decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. She loved craft fairs, fishing and crabbing, trips to the beach and her annual vacations.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Ochsner who cared for her throughout treatment.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 1 PM. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until mass time. Interment private.
