Fairy “Faye” Mae McKlemurry Alleman Amantea, a native of McComb, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Richard Amantea by second marriage and of the late Charles Alleman by first marriage. Loving mother of James Gregory Ball, Jeffrey Lee Ball and the late Belinda Faye Alleman. Grandmother of Jonathan P. Palermo, Nicholas J. Gagliano, Justin C. Uldridge, Adam V. Ball and Jeffrey Ball, Jr. Sister of Ralph L. McKlemurry, Barbara M. McKenzie, the late Richard L. McKlemurry, Jr., Shirley F. Holmes and Lottie M. Gillespie. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Mrs. Amantea was the former proprietor of Finally Faye’s in Harvey, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Monday from 9 AM until 11 AM.
