Fabian Francis Zeringue, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the age of 59. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 25, 1966 to Alexina and Francis Zeringue.

He is the husband of Sandra Zeringue; the father of Fabian Zeringue Jr (Kayla), Tiffany Morel (David), Gavin Zeringue, and Alyssa Zeringue; the grandfather of Keeley Zeringue, Jessie-Lynn Bowman, Maddox Zeringue, Eli Zeringue, and Levi Zeringue. He is also survived by his siblings: Loretta Camus (Ernest), Marilyn Camus (Ronnie), Jeannie Enclade (Mike), Lisa Shano (Wayne), Susan Dufrene (Cliff), Linda Z Burgess, Debra Z Rice (Dale), Wayne Zeringue (Jane), and Cheryl Z Holand; and his dearest friend Shirley Clouatre.

A native of New Orleans, and proud resident of Crown Point for over 40 years. Fabian began his professional career as a Captain of a Tugboat. Fabian was successful as a Captain in the New Orleans area.

Fabian was a unique individual who would enjoy the little things in life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors on the water. He was an avid and dedicated fisherman. However, his true passion was to connect with people on a wide spectrum of diversity. Fabian was unique and irreplaceable and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His spirit and nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.
