Eula Mae Diaz Theriot

Eula Mae Diaz Theriot, lifelong resident of Gretna, LA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the age of 95. Born on July 19, 1921, Eula Mae was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis E. Theriot; daughter, Carolyn Theriot (Sister Mary Judine, MHS); parents, Marcellus and Elmire Dominique Diaz; brothers, Junius Diaz and Milton Diaz; sister, Edith Smith; sisters-in-law, Ella Mae Diaz and Blanche Isemann; brothers-in-law, Neal Smith, Preston Comeaux and Henry Isemann. She is the beloved mother of Don D. Theriot. She is devoted sister of Earl (Rita) Diaz, Wilfred (Audrey) Diaz and Marion Comeaux. She is loving sister-in-law of Marie Diaz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Donna D’ Arcangelo and Gina Kulick for their years of dedicated care given to Miss Eula Mae and the service to the family. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM all from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment at Hook and Ladder Cemetery.
