Ernest A. Bergeron

Ernest A. Bergeron passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026 at the age of 80. Beloved son of the late Edward and Viola Bergeron. Brother of Malvina Gendron and the late Louella Poole. Uncle of Lisa Brune, Walter Gendron III, Terry Poole, and Barry Poole. Also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews, and 8 great great nieces and nephews. He was a member of JPRD, LC Club, Hartz & Handz, Mary Helpers of Christians, Elk Lodge #2497, Just Dance, and Westbank Arc of Gretna. In addition to being a member of all these organizations, he loved to bowl. He was a native of Westwego, Louisiana and a resident of Harvey, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, Louisiana on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 11am.
