Eric Michael Champagne, 53, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband of Angela Nicholas Champagne. Father of Erica Williams (Mark Williams), Monique Hammill (Brad Hammill), and step-father of Taylor Rook (Garrett Robertson) and Jordan Rook. Son of Lorraine Webre Champagne and the late Wilton J. Champagne. Brother of Tammy Champagne Cunningham (Daniel Cunningham) and the late Bonnie Champagne Duvernay. Grandfather of Brody, Beau, Brock and Mia Williams and Bently and Briley Hammill.
Born in New Orleans, LA, he was employed at Oxychem as Superintendent of Transportation for 25 years. Eric enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding in the swamp with his family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Homes, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until funeral time. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
