Elsie Lauland Martin

Elsie Lauland Martin, age 91, entered into eternal life on October 17, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward S. “Pepper” Martin; her parents, Carolina and Louis S. Lauland and her brother, Stanley L. Lauland. Elsie is survived by two daughters, Randy Martin Bertin (Ray) and Jamie Martin Roach (Jim); three grandchildren, David Dale Roach (Kim), Brian David Bertin (Rebecca) and Melinda Bertin Mitchell (Brandon); two Great Grandchildren, Cody and Sarah; brother-in-law, John David Martin (Faye) of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10AM until 12 Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at Noon. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
