Elaine Teal Newman of Belle Chasse, LA passed away peacefully on April 14, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Allen August Newman Jr. Loving mother of Tammy Newman Panepinto and Allen August Newman III. Loving mother-in-law of John M. Panepinto Jr. and Carla Buras Newman. Grandmother of Allen August Newman IV and Patrick Anthony Newman. Sister of Joyce Teal Talamo, the late Rita Teal Juraszek, William C. Teal Jr., Joan Ann Teal Dubea, Sidney “Doddie” Teal, Donald Edward Teal and Judy Owens Francois. Daughter of the late William Christopher Teal and Althea Rita Wattigney Teal. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5 PM to 10 PM, resuming at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23 in Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
