Eddie Abreo entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Frances Abreo for 50 years. Son of the late Hardy Abreo and Josephine Savona Abreo. Father of Ricky Abreo (Kathy), Rhonda Boudreaux (Dwayne) and the late Randy Abreo. Step-father of Joanne Martin (Jose’) and the late Jody Taravella (Michael). Grandfather of Brandi Alvarez, Ricky Abreo II and Megan Boudreaux. Step-Grandfather of Carlos Martin and Victoria Rowells (John). Great Grandfather of Chasity Alvarez, Braxton Alvarez and Taylin Alvarez. Step-Great Great Grandfather of Wesley Martin. Beloved brother of the late William Abreo (the late Lorraine). Eddie was a retired Inspector from Continental Can Company. After retirement, Eddie went to work at Heritage Manor where he enjoyed working and helping the residents. He loved watching the Saints play football and he loved fishing. He was born in Harvey, Louisiana and he resided in Gretna, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 9:30AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
