Douglas Joseph Poché, Jr.

Douglas Joseph Poché, Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at his residence in Terrytown, LA at the age of 61. He was born in Harvey, LA. Beloved husband of 26 years to Nina Martinez Poché.  Father of Christina Marie Poché, Casey Lynn Poché, and Desiree Jane Poché. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tristen, Trace, and Michael. Son of the late Douglas Poché, Sr. and Jane Arceneaux Poché. Brother of Joan Poché Landry (Vincent), Marie Poché Firmin (Gene), John David Poché (Lisa), and Dean Michael Poché (Anita). Brother-in-law of Marie Andary, Norma Jean Parker (Mitchell) and the late Martin Martinez, Jr. He was the loving uncle to Lindsey, Vincent, Matthew, Michael, Aline, Lacey, Bryan, Zachary, Amber, Ashley, Teddy, Zachary, Matthew, Sarah, Brandi, and Stacey. Great-uncle of 19.

Doug was an employee of BWC Terminals for over 18 years. He was an avid fisherman. He loved his family and would do anything for them. His daughters meant the world to him and what brought him great happiness were his grandsons. He loved spending time with them on the boat.
