Doris Marie Plaisance Baye

Doris Marie Plaisance Baye entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Mildred Louis Baye. Daughter of the late Severin Joseph Plaisance and Ada Barrios Plaisance. Loving mother of Roseanna Matherne (Ted, Sr.), Gwen Macalusa (Ronald, Sr.), Milfred Baye, Sr (Marilyn), Rodney Baye, Sr. (Johnnie), Denise Baye (Thomas) and the late Virginia Baye and Kevin Baye, Sr. Sister of the late Aline Ledet, Mildred Brown, Ronald Plaisance, Stanley Plaisance, Earl Plaisance, Willis Plaisance and Bernice Plaisance. Doris is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a nieces and nephews. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Westbank. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 8AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
