Doris Bergeron Berthelot

Doris Bergeron Berthelot, age 87, passed away on October 25, 2022. Loving wife of the late Adam P. Berthelot and mother of Renoid P. Berthelot (Enid), Cynthia B. Dominick (Eddie), Roxanne Berthelot (Jerry Bruce), and the late Allen J. Berthelot (Sandra Pitre). Doris was born on December 6, 1934 in Marrero, LA to the late Octave P. Bergeron and the late Angelique Bourgeois Bergeron. Sister of Philip Bergeron. She is predeceased by her siblings Roy Bergeron, Alvin Bergeron, and Gloria B. Nuccio. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild along with a host of nieces and nephews. Doris was an employee of the Jefferson Parish School Board for 25 years. She was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion Post #222 and member of the Belle Terre Golden Age Club. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11AM. Visitation will begin at 9AM.
