Donald John Verret Sr.

Donald John Verret Sr. passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Barbara Domingues Verret. Father of Donald John Verret, Jr. (Brenda), Mark Verret (Janet), Dale Verret (Lyndie) and Scott Verret (Dawn). Son of the late Gustave and Augusta Verret. Brother of Rena Labat. Grandfather of Brad Verret, Michael Cedotal, Amie Fruge, Jamie Clouatre, and Ryan Rieth. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a native of Montegut, LA and a resident of Gretna, La for the past 45 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
