Dolly G. Clement Gebhart

Dolly G. Clement Gebhart, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Clement; second husband, James L. Gebhart; two step-daughters; parents, Sabin and Clelie Guidroz; siblings, Reynard “Pluggy” Guidroz, Calvin Guidroz, Rohel Guidroz, Roland Guidroz, Jennie Romano. She is the beloved mother of Gwendolyn A. Jolly (Jack) and Karen C. Humphrey (Alton “Buzz”). She is the loving step-mother of one step-daughter. She is the devoted grandmother of 3 grandchildren, Jamie Palmer, Alton “Slugger” Humphrey (Meredith) and Jamison Blankenship (Moria) and 7 step grandchildren. She is the great grandmother of 3 great- grandchildren, Jeremy Hagen, Preston Palmer and Nicholas Humphrey and 2 step- great- grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Dolly was a life member of the VFW Auxillary of Westwego; former member of Sweet Adelines and a member of the OLPS Westwego Choir and a parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church in Gretna. She was a substitute teacher for Shirley T. Johnson Elementary School in Gretna. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, November 30, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
