Diane "Mim" Holland Elliott

Diane “Mim” Holland Elliott went to meet her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2017 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward W. Elliott Jr. and the late David A. Bolotte (Catherine). Mother of David B. Bolotte (Lori) and Tammy Jo Singletary (James Pardee). Grandmother of Kayla (Brad Lopez), Nicolas and Derek (Jessica). Great-grandmother of Hunter, Brayla, Lana Marie and Lynden Raelee. Sister of Ethel Naquin, the late Frances “Sister” Cheeks, Theodore “Buddy” Holland, Edith Ledet, Shirley Billings and Lionel Holland Sr. (Bobbi Nel). Daughter of the late Linvel R. Holland Sr. and Tamzia Roper Holland. Also survived by her canine companion, Baybe Breeze, her granddog, Ginger and Cookie along with other loving relatives and friends.
Diane worked as a substitute teacher at Gretna Junior High School and later worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at Paul Solis Elementary School and Gretna #2 School before retiring in 2006. During her years, she touched the hearts and lives of so many in a very special way and will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel.
