Delores Mai

Delores Mai passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Mai for 65 years. Mother of Tammy Figley (Reggie) and the late Brenda Mai. Daughter of the late Pearl and Joseph Orlowski. Sister of the late Eleanor Messner and Mary Bailey. Grandmother of Jeremy Figley, and Justin Figley (Kate). She was a devoted parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and a recipient of the St. Louis Medallion. She loved gardening and was a hospice volunteer. She was a native of Winfield, Kansas and a resident of Springfield, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1pm. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com . In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to ALS or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
