Delia Dugas Boudreaux passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on December 11, 2021, at the age of 67. Delia was born in New Orleans on September 23, 1954, to Alvin Dugas and Gladys Rogers Dugas.
Delia is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ronald Boudreaux; her children, Ronald Boudreaux Jr. (Rachel), Peter Boudreaux, and Ashley Boudreaux (Frank); her grandchildren, Hayden Boudreaux, Noah Boudreaux, and Amelia Boudreaux; her sister, Linda Dugas Matherne (Johnny Sr.) and her nephews, Johnny Matherne Jr, Danny Matherne, and Randy Matherne (Ariana). Delia is also survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Brister (Brian).
Delia is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Dugas and Gladys Rogers Dugas.
Delia was a lifelong resident of Marrero, a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School, and a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She retired from the United States Postal Service in Harvey, La after 25 years of dedicated service. Delia will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La at 1pm. A visitation will begin at 11am until the time of service. Interment will immediately follow Mass in Westlawn Cemetery.
