Dean New Ruegge

Dean New Ruegge passed away peacefully on January 4, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Wife of the late Gene H. Ruegge by first marriage and the late Frederick T. Mehle by second marriage. Mother of Philip S. Ruegge (Naomi), Samantha Ruegge-Winn, Kathi Long and the late Clayton P. Ruegge. Grandmother of Gene, Benjamin, Clayton, Paden, Mahlon, Griffin, Brian and Thomas. Great-grandmother of Gracyann, Cole, Madison, Grace and Chase. Daughter of the late Cora Faye Smith New and Clarence E. New. Also survived by her brother, Kenneth and sisters-in-law, Anita and Barbara along many other loving relatives and friends.
Dean owned and operated her family’s business, R & R Rig Service, Inc. and was a longtime member of the Westbank Desk and Derrick Club.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
