David Michael Shumaker

David Michael Shumaker, born on September 6, 1962, passed away on October 9, 2026.

David will be remembered as a man who loved deeply and lived with a generous heart. He adored his family, found great joy in motorcycles, and enjoyed the timeless sounds of Classic Rock and Country music. Those who knew him also knew his steady willingness to lend a hand. He was always ready to help anyone he could, and that kindness leaves a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that reflected his strength and sense of duty. In his working life, he was a crane operator, bringing dedication and skill to his career.

David’s life was marked by the things he cared about most: the people he loved, the music that moved him, the freedom and enjoyment he found in motorcycles, and the everyday acts of kindness that defined his character. He will be remembered with love, gratitude, and affection by those whose lives he touched.

David is survived by his loving wife Sylvia; son Allan (Vanessa); grandson Ryden; and mother Doris. He was preceded in death by his son Doyle II and father Doyle,
