David Edward Potter went home to meet his Lord and Savior on January 21, 2018 at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Barbara Jeanne Engle Potter. Father of Adena Saft Potter, Janie Gieschen, Malissa Doud and David E. Potter. Grandfather of Abigail, Jackson, Tessah, Jadon and our expectant angel, Liam. Son of Beverly Rae Holmes Potter and the late Bobbie Elvin Potter. Brother of Stephen Potter. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
David served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked as a Construction Control Inspector for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Hosanna Church in Marrero and was a dedicated family man. While his passing is sorrowful, his life and legacy will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Hosanna Church, 2215 Barataria Blvd. (near Cousins Blvd.) in Marrero on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow.
