David Lee LaChute

He is survived by his children, whom he loved so much. Dana LaChute, Debbie Leavitt (Mark), Denise Holt (Gregory), Delores McDuffie (Dewiott), and David LaChute Jr (Stacey). His grandchildren, Dillon Myers, Cody Leavitt, Celine Myers, Dewiott McDuffie III, Zachary McDuffie, Allison McDuffie, Makayla Holt, Keith Christen Jr, Karlie Williams and Kelsie Christen. Great-grandchildren, Liam Christen, Kreed Guedry, and Leilani Christen. He is also survived by his sister Phylis Gautro and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Debra LaChute, parents Victor and Eileen LaChute, grandson Dawson Myers, sisters Karen Butterley, Donna Poche' and Sheryl Loudenslager.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco, Marrero, LA, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 12 PM to 1:30 PM. The funeral Mass will start at 1:30 PM.
