Darnell Tedesco Pitre passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of the late George S. Pitre for 52 years. Mother of Sharon P. Dubret (Andre), Stacie P. Dufrene (Chris), and Nicole P. Kieffer (Jeffry). Daughter of the late Eris Smith Tedesco and Allen F. Tedesco. Mimi of Anthony, Amanda, Zachary, Madison, Cade, and Caleb. She was a parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church having served as a Eucharistic minister. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 47 years. Relatives and Friends of the family, also members of Knights of Columbus St. Thomas More Council No, 7226 are invited to attend the visitation at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Marrero, LA on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Gates of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to either the American Lung Association ( www.lung.org ) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org ).
