Danny Breaux Jr., age 50, of Lumberton, Mississippi, passed away on September 19, 2026.

Danny was born and raised in Westwego, Louisiana, the son of Danny Breaux Sr. and Peggy Jo Creppel Breaux. He later made his home in Lumberton, Mississippi, with his wife, Kathy, and their family.

Danny worked for Folgers Coffee as a Process Technician. Those who knew him knew that his abilities went far beyond his job title. Danny was a true jack of all trades who could figure out how to build, repair, or fix just about anything. If there was a problem that needed solving, Danny would find a way.

An avid outdoorsman, Danny was happiest outside. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and farming. More than any hobby, however, Danny valued time spent with his family. Whether working on a project, enjoying the outdoors, or simply spending time together, his family was an important part of his life.

Danny will also be remembered for his willingness to help others. He was the kind of man who would lend his knowledge, his hands, or his time whenever someone was in need.

Danny was Catholic, and his family takes comfort in their faith and in the hope of eternal life promised through Jesus Christ.

Danny is survived by his wife, Kathy Breaux; his sons, Dustin Cascio (Lindsay) and Danny Breaux III (Amber); his mother, Peggy Jo Creppel Breaux; his mother-in-law, Flossie Bourgeois; his grandchildren, Isabella Cascio, Adaline Cascio, Emily Cascio, and Deacon Breaux; and his nephews, David Bourgeois III and Skylar Coulon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Breaux Sr.; his father-in-law, David Bourgeois Sr.; his brother-in-law, David “Buck” Bourgeois Jr.; and his sister, Raquel Coulon.

Family and friends are invited to attend Danny’s funeral services on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego, Louisiana. Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m.

Following the Mass, Danny will be inurned in the Gates of Heaven Mausoleum.
