Dannie Roland Gardner

Dannie Roland Gardner passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of 52 years to Bambi Lumpkin Gardner. Father of CW4 John M. Gardner, U.S. Army (Christina), Shannon Lynn Gardner, and Kimberly Stevenson. Grandfather of Jake, Grant, Sarah, Katelynn, and Kody. Great-grandfather of Calla Holmes.

Brother of Johnnie Tharp, Tommy Gardner, Bobby Gardner and Richard Maxey, Regina Salters, Charlene Salters, Wendy Salters, the late Grady Salters and Marzene Salters. Son of the late Tommie and Elsie Gardner.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and later earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He worked in the oil field and later as a crane inspector and heavy equipment mechanic. He will be sadly missed.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A prayer service will follow.
