Daniel Parks, Sr.

Daniel Parks, Sr., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on July 19, 2026. He was 74 years of age. Beloved husband of Debra Parks. Father of Daniel Parks, Jr. Grandfather of Stephanie Parks (Garrett) and Dori Parks. Great-grandfather of Arayah, Myla, and Porter Deeks. Brother of Allen Parks, Jr. (Diane), Donald Parks, Sr. (Patricia), and Karen Parks. Preceded in death by his mother, Marie Durapau Parks; father, Allen Parks, Sr. and sister, Pamela Parks Richard. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Daniel was a resident of Waggaman, LA for 53 years and served his community as a volunteer fire fighter with Live Oak Manor Vol. Fire Department in Waggaman. Daniel enjoyed his time in the kitchen cooking and working in his garden, but his greatest joy was his family. Daniel will be sadly missed.
