Cynthia "Cindy" DeLaune Parfait

Cynthia "Cindy" DeLaune Parfait entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at the age of 70.  Beloved wife of John Parfait, Jr. for 51 years.  Daughter of the late Mercedes Gros Folse and Douglas DeLaune.  Beloved and loving mother of Tina Parfait and Colleen Noble Talbert.  Grandmother to her only grandchild, Corey Meyer and Great Grandmother to her only Great Grandchild, Brettley Meyer.  Sister to Constance "Connie" Petticrew, Wanda St. Andrie, Ricardo "Ricky" DeLaune, Rebecca "Becky" Townsend, Mercedes "Mercy" Folse and James "Jimbo" Folse, Jr.  Cindy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was a lifelong resident of the Westbank.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 6PM until 10PM.  Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 9AM until 1:30PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30PM.  Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com
