Curtis Ovey Owens, III entered eternal rest on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 73. Beloved and loving husband of Kim Blanchard Owens for 43 years. Son of the late Curtis Ovey Owens, Jr. and Vita Menner Owens. Father of Gregory Davis Owens and the late Curtis Ovey Owens, IV. Grandfather of Lauren Ashley Owens and Luke Alan Owens. Brother of Ronnie Owens (Phyllis), Diana Owens Bundy (Bruce) and the late Robert Owens. Brother-in-law of Louie J. Blanchard (Jill), Becky Blanchard (Kettie) and Eugene E. Blanchard, III (Kati). Curtis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Madisonville, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, Louisiana on Friday, July 10, 2026, beginning at 9AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anselm Catholic Church on Friday at 10AM followed by interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana.
