Colleen Vinson Parker

Colleen Leonora Vinson Parker passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Johnny J. Parker, Jr. Mother of Craig J. Parker. Daughter of the late Avon “Abby” Vinson and the late Rita Labit Vinson. Sister of Dayle Vinson Stiltner (Tom), and the late Avon “Joe” Vinson (Linda) and Barry Vinson (Judy). Also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews. Age 69 years and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as the Queen, Life of the Party, the Boss, Chalicalou, GiGi, Best Friend, PIA, Know It All, Mom, and Sister. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Plaquemines Animal Welfare Society of the Louisiana SPCA.
