Clyde Bennett Price, III, age 64 entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born on December 9, 1956 in Algiers, Louisiana where he remained for his entire life. Clyde is remembered mostly as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Bennett Price, Jr. and June Adams Price. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 43 years, Katherine Jean Crews Price. He is survived by his children, Shaunta Price (Craig) and Clyde Bennett Price, IV (My). His surviving grandchildren include, Craig Champagne and Kinley Price. He also leaves his sisters, Darlene Pitre (Albert) and Kathleen Fradella (Rene) along with his Godchildren, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and a host of friends. Son-in-law to Melba Crews; brother-in-law to Sherrie Williams and brother-in-law to the late Robert Crews. He was a lifelong member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. He also enjoyed his 29 years of participation in the APA Pool League; as well as his time with the Greater New Orleans Dart Association. Clyde never met a stranger and had the biggest heart of anyone you’d meet. He enjoyed life to the fullest and loved his family first and foremost. Family, friends, employees of J.W. Stone Oil Distributors, New Orleans Fire Department, APA Pool League and Greater New Orleans Dart Association are invited to attend the Visitation at Holy Name of Mary Church, 500 Eliza Street, Algiers, Louisiana on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
