Clifford Lee Boyd Jr., known to everyone as “Bozo”, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 2, 2023, at the age of 51. He was born in Tylertown, MS on October 10, 1971, to his mother Lona “Faye” Buras, and his late father Clifford Lee Boyd Sr. He was raised in Venice, LA, where his dad would show him his way of life. He went on to make a living as a commercial fisherman and boat captain. Clifford worked hard, even after his stroke, to provide for his family. He died doing what he loved, working on the boat, out on the water. Although boats were his passion, his family meant the world to him and he loved when everyone got together. Clifford was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was a great man and kind-hearted; he never met a stranger or hesitated to help someone in need. The impact of his loss will forever be felt by those who knew him. Clifford is survived by his wife, Tina Boyd, and will be deeply missed by his children, Dani Boudreaux, Alex Boyd, Clifford Boyd III, Jake Boyd, and his son-in-law Cody Boudreaux. He is also survived by his siblings Rebecca Boyd, Leona Morrill (Donnie), Jerry “Peanut” Boyd (Jack), Randy Boyd (Kristin), and Grason Boyd, as well as many nieces, nephews and his grand-pups, Drew and Saint. He is preceded in death by his son, Calvin Boyd, his father, Clifford Lee Boyd SR., his paternal grandparents, Donald Doris Boyd Sr. and Mary Lexie Boyd, and his maternal grandparents, Willie Bill Peters, and Lona Monk. Services will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey, LA, with visitation from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.
