Clayton Marcel Prestwood, Sr.

Clayton Marcel Prestwood, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the age of 71.  Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary LaRocca Prestwood.  Loving and devoted father to Clayton Prestwood, Jr. (Ronda) and Melissa Prestwood.  Proud Grandfather to Amanda, Evan and Nicky Prestwood.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Prestwood; his Grandparents, Wendell and Mary Troulliet and his brother, Calvin “Butch” Prestwood.  Clayton is also survived by his three sisters, Marie Patecek, Patty (David) Pugh and Laurie Mitchell as well as 8 loving nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.  He had a passion for deer hunting, drag racing, spending time with his grandchildren, cooking on holidays and boiling crawfish.  He was always the life of the party and he will be sadly missed.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10AM until 11AM.  A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
