Claude A. Daigle, Sr.

Claude A. Daigle, Sr., 94 years old, died peacefully at home, Sunday, September 20, 2026, with his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Daigle and their daughter, Tyra L. Daigle by his side. Born December 18, 1931, Claude was the baby boy to Arthur and Lorina Daigle of Schriever, Louisiana. Claude is the father to Diana Daigle Gendusa, Barbara Daigle Hotard, Tyra Daigle and the late Glenn “Bubba” Daigle, Claude “Junior” Daigle, Jr. and Robert Daigle. Grandfather to 8 Grandchildren and many great Grandchildren. Brother to the late Alice Daigle, Mildred Daigle, Mattie Daigle Hebert, Geraldine Daigle Faucheux, Gibbons Daigle, Orville Daigle, Deacon Irving Daigle, Preston Daigle and Arthur Daigle, Jr. Claude was the Uncle to many nieces and nephews. For over 60 years, he was a Sales Representative for a Food Broker and covered many stores in the Louisiana and Mississippi areas. He had a love of New Orleans, especially Bayou St. John and Dumaine Street. He was a loving husband and father who took pride in his children. Outside of his cherished family, he loved Tulane football, cigars and growing a garden. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
